Common Mistakes to Avoid While Preparing for SSC Exam Online


SSC Exam syllabus is very extensive. While preparing for the SSC Exam aspirants needs to study four subjects as the exam covers four sections such as

  • General English 
  •  Quantitative Aptitude 
  • Logical Reasoning
  • General Knowledge

 SSC CGL exam, applicants usually experience stress while preparing for the exam. They seek advice from everywhere so that they can crack the exam in the first attempt without committing any mistake. The mistakes that are generally committed by the students while preparing under stress, especially when the exam is going to approach soon. The tips which will protect the aspirants from indulging into unnecessary stress and confusion can be evaluated as below:
  • Do not refer too many books while preparing for the exam:   Never refer more than one book for any of the subjects while preparing for the exam. Always seek advice from an experienced person before buying a book and follow the same for the entire preparation. It will keep the mind stable and free from all the confusions. Referring multiple books by different authors can confuse you as the writing style of every author is different and one gets confused if one reads too many authors for the same topic.
  • Do not give uneven preference to all the subjects:  Some aspirants think that practicing complex subjects like Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning will yield more score or possibilities of cracking the exam. This type of preparation will only give you selective knowledge and you will be ignoring the other subjects which are equally important. As the exam pattern allows equal marks to al the sections. It is better to avoid such mistake while preparing for SSC EXAM.
  • Doing last minute reading:   As an aspirant one should try to complete the syllabus well in advance because last minute mugging up creates confusion. Make a list of the important topics of all the relevant subjects to revise at the end rather than picking up a new topic at the last moment
  • Total focus on Learning:   Shortcuts for every type of question: It is a general belief among the aspirants seeks for short cuts to solve the questions quickly. In the process of learning many tricks students get confused as they avoid the concept and try to mug up the shortcuts. One should learn the tricks because it saves time while attempting the question paper but not more than your learning capacity to retain them without confusion. Tricks should be practiced a lot before applying to give the effective result .
  • Examination fear:   Panic-stricken candidates will not be able to prepare well and write well in the exam. It is better to avoid any hidden fear if one has and think positive. Fear can spoil the learning process and leads to unnecessary stress. Therefore aspire for the upper limit and attempt maximum without negotiating with accuracy.
